sometimes I have wondered
what is she doing
buying this and that
do we really need two garden gnomes
won’t that colour do
what was wrong with the old mugs?
I am consulted on most things
initially
that does not mean I have a say
I have learned that much
but she knows well
that I will be happy with change
in so far as I was happy
with far less than we have now
but now I do not wonder
as the next biscuit tin arrives
