About Ciarán O’Rourke
Ciarán O’Rourke is an Irish poet, software engineer and mathematician from Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Born in 1981, Ciarán currently lives in Wexford, Ireland with his wife Éadaoin and her two sons, Cillian and Dáire. Writing since the age of 18, this is his first publication of poetry.

O King, take heed, take heed
My people, let them be
Cast anchor from our shores
